Cheddar Squash Biscuits

  • 2 cups squash, grated
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 Tbs baking powder
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 Tbs butter, melted
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Mix all dry ingredients.  With you hands mix in remaining ingredients.  With large cookie scoop, place biscuits on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.  Cook for 15 minutes, checking that they are completely cooked through with a fork.
